About Us
The MCRA is a statewide organization of health professionals in the cancer data management field. We are a non-profit organization supported by its members through annual dues, fees charged for educational symposia, and fund-raisers. The MCRA became an official association on June 10, 1998. Our Mission is to provide an educational resource and a network for health care professionals who collect, utilize, interpret and evaluate cancer data to improve the care, quality of life, and survival of cancer patients.
Membership
Membership is open to all individuals involved with cancer registry activities. The membership year begins in May. Dues shall be paid by May 1st. Membership is on an individual basis, including those by an employer and cannot be transferred from one individual to another. Corporate memberships are also available. Would you like To Join MCRA?

Importand NewsMCRA's 2012 Spring workshop will be May 17th-18th, at the Billings Clinic Cancer Center 801 North 29th Street Billings, MT 59107 Cancer Conference Center Fourth Floor, Rooms 1 and 2 Scholarship: The MCRA Executive Board feels it is important for MCRA to provide continuing education opportunities to our members. We also feel it is important for as many registrars as possible to be able attend our annual meeting. We would like to help give Registrars the opportunity to attend this meeting by offering two $200 scholarships each year for two members. This money is to help registrars that do not have the benefit of their organizations paying their way to the meeting.

The National Cancer Registrars Association’s (NCRA) Council on Certification promotes standardization in the collection and use of cancer data through examination and certification of Cancer Registrars and other cancer data specialists.
